Asian Handicap is one of the most popular betting markets in Malaysia, and it's what makes football betting genuinely exciting. In Asian Handicap, the weaker team is given a "goal advantage" before the match begins, while the stronger team must "cover" that same number of goals.
For example, if Johor DT carries a -1 handicap against Selangor, JDT must win by two goals or more for a bet on JDT to win. If they win 1–0, it's a push — your stake is fully refunded. This is one of the key reasons Asian Handicap is so popular: it eliminates the draw risk and offers better value than a standard 1X2 market.
One of the most popular markets among MZPlay players is Over/Under. In this market, you don't need to predict who will win — you simply predict whether the total number of goals (or points, or sets) in the match will be higher or lower than the number set by MZPlay.
